The Archangel

Deep ruby, slightly bricking and staining.  Incredible mint and deep dark cherry fruit, unbelievably elegant and full.

Drrrrrrty like your girlfriend, but bright, sweet and elegant, maintaining a stilletto black-pump leather skirt wholesomeness so sophisticated beyond anything I have tasted from Valle De Guadalupe to date. Green grainy sexy cassis petrichor conifer mint, steely and still somehow ripe, bringing buttercream dessert and al dente pasta savory saltine levels to a ridiculously fruity, delectable tincture. An elegant, stunning wine giving creedence to my decade-long raving about Baja wines.

Somehow in my many visits to Valle de Guadalupe, I have never tasted these wines.  It slightly entertains the salty nuance many wines of the region do, but balances it with deep dark fruit and musky elements.  An incredible Meritage, one quite worthy of seeking out.
