Dusty eucalyptus fruit, black cherry and licorice and VA. Boring fruit in the mouth, thin and tired, out of balance with citrus finish. Drinkable…. but not really. I can’t be too hard on these guys. Ranching is their first interest (Teixeira’s?) down on Foxen Canyon Rd between Riverbench and Foxen. Wines aren’t that great when they’re young but there’s family energy and enthusiasm and the wines are CHEAP. I don’t know who makes them. The wines have flaws when fresh and this one certainly should NOT have been forgotten in my cellar for almost 10 years.
