Clos Cherub

A perfect Beaujolais ruby bright with wide pink edges.  Big oily salty barnyard cinnamon and nutmeg concentration so rife with sweat and blood and umami one stops to consider how much LIFE is incorporated into a wine so cheap and considered shallow by most Americans.

In the mouth, instant steely mineral edge burnished with ripe cherry, cheery fruit thinning instantly into shocking acidity.  Flaccid and round in the middle, not much to see here,  but a “food-wine” so perfect: even though it would be easy to poke critical holes in this wine, you can’t help but love it for all its verve and pointedness. How can you NOT love Cru-Bojo?
