How much Pinot perfection can you handle in one glass? I mean seriously: we all drink a shit ton of Pinot and we all have been doing it for a long time and Pinots process differently in everyone’s brains but then you hit upon one that just clears your mind of all thoughts, it strikes on so many perfect notes. Perfect pale garnet with a touch of ruby at its core. Huge barnyard and beautiful oak, layers and layers of candy root beer fruit, chocolate, coffee and dense, down inside a briar spice you can’t wait to taste and then you do and it’s all just unbelievable heaven: Fruit so ripe at the same time so thin, so alive and wild–green astringent over the middle topped off by a nice chunk of tannin.
